Clothes and their history or evolution is a fascinating one. Clothing accessories are another interesting subject and it is worthy of research as well. Another fascinating area are gloves. From their primitive origins to modern day, perhaps they have not changed that much in design but are interesting nonetheless. For further reading or research there is a good resource on the history of gloves here

I have a great craze for any Victorian style of dressing. I think there is a great amount of richness and seriousness in these dresses. I totally agree these dresses are way more stunning than the ones that are invented in Europe. So true, given a chance I would bring this trend back, where one can wear dresses with great importance and respect. I am so glad to find this page and find out that there are other people like me who are interested in stuff like this. They say fashion sense repeats centuries and decades, I hope Victorian dresses will be back in vogue soon.

I just love those Victorian dresses and wish they were back in style instead of that garbage designed by so called fashion designers in Europe. I’m being kind here and would like to really tell the world what I think of modern design. My husband says I was born a couple of hundred years late and maybe he’s right.
